To get you acquainted with Route 1's program, we’ve implemented a PREP COURSE that you MUST COMPLETE in the start of your first month. Our prep course series is designed to get you equipped with all the skills and techniques that are fundamental to the CrossFit program and to RTE1's classes. You’ll learn all about power lifting, kettlebells, kipping, gym safety, and much more. The prep course ensures that you’ll have a strong grasp and understanding of our program and it will have you ready to jump right into classes.
The group prep course starts the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6PM (see calendar below AND subject to changes). Any missed group prep course class must be rescheduled for a fee of $25 per class with one of our coaches as soon as possible. Completion of the prep course class series is required before attendance of a regularly scheduled CrossFit class.
WHAT EXACTLY DO WE MEAN?
Our "beginner's period" is a 30-day unlimited membership, starting with the 5 group prep course classes. The 5th class in the series is an immersion class, in which you attend the specified CrossFit class along with the other prep course participants. One of our coaches will attend that class with you, to show you the ropes! Following the Immersion class, you may attend as many classes as you'd like for the remaining 30 days! (The initial month begins on class 1 of the prep course)
If you’re unable to take the prep course group classes because of your schedule, you can work privately with a coach. You’ll need to take 3 (one hour) training sessions that can be scheduled for a time that works for both you and the coach. After these private sessions, your coach will guide you through your first CrossFit class, after which time you may attend as many classes as you'd like for the remaining 30 days. (The initial month begins on session 1 of the private training sessions)
